Thank you! This is one of my main gripes about the KR remake is that it's not enough like the original series. The lone-wolf-fighting-bad-guys-when-he-comes-across-them formula is what made the original so good. There is way too much close-support in the remake that takes away from it too.

I don't mind Sydney and Yancey being canned but I don't quite understand getting rid of Bruce Davison.

Personally, I've liked the Zoe/Billy and the Mike/Sarah interplay.

Interestingly enough, Seeing freaky Zoe teasing Billy has beome one of the highlights of the show for me. The funny part was that at first, I couldn't stand her, but after a couple of episodes of the Zoe/Billy stuff, I got to like it.

On the other hand, the things that made Michael Knight Sr. interesting are just kind of annoying in Mike Tracer. When the Hoff made it with a hottie guest star, we all cheered him on. However, when Tracer puts the moves on someone, I just think "how immature".

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm in a different place in my life now, but while I liked watching Hoff act like a kid, I want to see Tracer grow up and become a man.

On the whole, I have to say that while the pilot really disappointed me, I'm liking the show more each week. I hope it makes it.

Re: Cancelled shows and shows in danger

New list - what is canceled and when will it end?

Well, My Own Worst Enemy is officially done (and on a double cliffhanger!), but according to this list Knight Rider and Crusoe are added to the canceled list (speculation or is someone in the know?). Here is what is ending and when. Both Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money have three left tbd, and the good news is both should have resolving finales now.

http://tv.yahoo.com/blog/when-will-c...ve-the-air--54

Some other notes, looks like Pushing Daisies might have a proper ending after all, not the original cliffhanger like Own Worst Enemy - http://tvseriesfinale.com/articles/p...ode-after-all/

Re: Cancelled shows and shows in danger

The only one of these I'm really disappointed to see going is Crusoe. We started watching it, and it is a really good show. My kids love it and I find it a nice change of pace from the typical stuff. Following that tv.yahoo link to the show info, it was rated 5 stars by 284 people, so apparently I'm not alone.

Oh well, that frees up an hour for another cop show...

I keep seeing good reviews on The Mentalist, but the previews don't thrill me, anyone recommend that?

You know, I have to agree with you. Personally I think if Crusoe came out when ABC had their TGIF lineup of Full House and what not in the 80s, I think it would have been a hit.

Ok, this one slipped by me - Monk is ending after next season: http://tvseriesfinale.com/articles/m...o-season-nine/

My take, its overdue. I like Monk but they're running out of fresh stories. Last season starts next summer.

Re: Cancelled shows and shows in danger

I think we've seen the death nell for Pushing Daisies. They actually removed the Wednesday airing and put on repeat episodes of Scrubs FROM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT! Bastages!

Re: Cancelled shows and shows in danger

There are three episodes that are supposed to air, ABC might do them all in one night, not sure when it will happen, but the series is supposed to get closure. My money is on the father (George Hamilton) taking the power away (like Heroes?) and Ned and Chuck get to touch.

Where (and when) did you hear they would air the last 3 episodes? Last I heard (last week) ABC wasn't even going to air the final 3 episodes. My wife will be very happy if they air those last 3 since I just told her she was out of luck

Re: Cancelled shows and shows in danger

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Mega-Gre...s-1001287.aspx

Any word on dates for the final three episodes of Pushing Daisies? — Kathy
MICKEY: ABC is contractually obligated to air the remaining episodes, but I've also heard that they might burn them all off in a one-night marathon. That's a lot of pie for one sitting.
