ATI HDTV Wonder availability in Canada
The ATI HDTV Wonder is not available in Canada, even though ATI is a Canadian company based in the outskirts of Toronto.
The reason they give is that there are not enough OTA broadcasts in Canada. The last I looked there were 5 or 6 Toronto based OTA broadcasts and more from Buffalo which might be able to be picked up in Toronto. In Windsor, they should be able to get all of the Detroit area broadcasts. I'm sure Vancouver and Montreal have at least some HD content being broadcast.
What can be done about this? Is there any kind of approach BeyondTV's Canadian users can take to try to get this policy changed? I can't even order over their website. It's just not available.
