Problems w/ Snapstream order fullfilment and customer service

I ordered my PVS and Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250 kit recently, it arrived last week as Thursday as promised.

Unfortunately, the package did not contain the WinTV PVR-250 and remote as promised (and paid for). Instead I got another Hauppauge card (Win TV Go maybe?) sans remote.

I've email and called Snapstream quite a few times since then, no responce at all. Most of the phone-menu tree ends up in the voice mail box of Craig Kline, but he doesn't seem to be answering (or returning, at least) those calls.

Has anybody had a similar problem w/ Snapstream? Are they going out of business or what? My confidence in them is pretty low at present.

Thanks for any info,

seabiscuit

I had a hard time getting thru to anyone for the cable bundle I ordered. Then I emailed one of the devs and he got things going. Send a message to the admins here that work for SS and let them get something going internally. I dont think they are going anywhere.

did you use the contact information provided on the store site?

you may want to contact PBMax or RKUO via PrivateMessage and let them know they can probably get someone in the store portion of the company to get your order straightend out.

Angry Contact information on Store site?

You mean did I send email to orders@snapstream.com? Yep, that was Thursday evening around 8. Nothing at all from them in my mail box.

I'll try the folks you mentioned.

Smile Customer service issues resolved

After a brief piece of mail as suggested above, I was contacted quickly by Snapstream customer service. They've shipped me out the correct card overnight (recieved the next day as promised).

Color me a happy camper now. Thanks to RKuo for the nudge to customer support, and RobertH for the suggestion.
