Separate Defaults for Timeshift/Recording ??
I would like to be able to use MPEG2 for Timeshifting but WMV for straight recording without having to waste CPU with Transcoding.
I see that there is the option to edit scheduled recordings and change the codec/quality. But, this is only available through the Web Admin and only after scheduling a recording. If this feature were available from the Fullscreen mode (i.e. Recoding Details screen) then this wouldn't be such a big deal. It would be even nicer to be able to set MPEG2-Good for Timeshifting and WMV-Near DVD for straight recording. Anyone come up with a way of doing this? Anyone know if there are plans for this in a new release? Thanks, Joe |
