PVR250 + Non-English Windows XP

Hello Group.

Well, after a month of email exchange it seems SnapStream Support has given up on getting SnapStream 3.2+ to use my PVR250.

According to support the problem is due to my French version of Windows XP ... merde, ca fait chier ;-)

Is anyone successfully running Snapstream + PVR250 (or 350) on a non-english version of Windows??

If so were there any hoops you had to jump through.

For the time being I am (successfully) running a trial of SageTV which is really sad as the GUI is uglier than an ugly dog!

Thanks

Maybe it's because you are French? Next time join the right side. We bailed your country out twice! No offense, but anything French these days just flat pisses me off.

from reading the release notes of the latest beta for 3.3, it seems this may be fixed. I have no way of knowing for sure though.

Thank you for the useful and mature post!

BTW: who said I was french or even from France? (hint: I'm not!)

Shoot first and don't even bother to ask questions later ... that's clever.
