WMV7 vs. MPEG4-v3 or MPEG4-ISO

Has anyone done any quantative tests on which encoder produces higher quality output?

I'm assuming that WMV7 is supposed to, but I can't verify it personally due to lack of equipment.

In a custom quality tweaking session, I tried playing with several custom quality parameters. I didn't bother to record "quantative" results, but my work may give you a head start.

My experiences are posted at: http://discuss.snapstream.com/ubb/Fo...ML/000967.html

At the bottom of my second post. I say a bit about how the different encoders worked for me.
