SnapStream 3.2 Updater

I am anxiously awaiting the general release of 3.2 I also want to say that every day (as it does what I ask of it without complaining) I marvel at the quality and usability of the product. Nice Job SS!

Is there any way you could release an Updater for 3.2 so we won't have to un-install and re-install? Thanks.

Yep there will be an updater so you don’t have to reinstall.

So what I've read and searched, ver 3.2 will be a bit faster thanks to better mpeg2 codec. Will this also help take advantage of any HW MPEG2 accleration that an AIW 7500 has?

Any estimation when ver 3.2 will be out?

3.2 will allow you to choose what mpeg decoder you use, so you will be able to pick one which can take advantage of your hardware’s mpeg2 decoding abilities.

As for a release, I would expect it soon (dare I say… within a week?).

I hope we won't have to pay for the update or anything like that. I just bought the thing.

No, you wont.

To my knowledge SnapStream has never charged for an update (even if you originally purchased SnapStream 1.0, you still get version 3.0 free). Of course I expect this will probably change eventually, but I am confident it wont happen till at LEAST version 4.0.
