Updating clock while recording

Okay, here's a BIG question for your devs.....

What happens when the system clock get's updating and recording is going on?

In particular, I have a ntp client, which keeps my system clock on target for recording purposes. Now, if the updates occur, (like every hour it moves by 0.1 sec) it could mess up the time-codes and many little dependencies when building an MPEG or WMV.

Good question, I have my machines all update their time to the active directory server wich gets its time from NTP, I havent seen any issues with time drift on either machine. Ive also set the clock purposely during a recording if I found it was going to run over the "scheduled time" for things like when sports interrupts normal programming or the president blabing on tv and it has never caused a problem
