..ok, which means that the db is likely properly filled..

which means

* your pvs is sending the proper .net credentials over..
* ss.net is properly sending data
* pvs is properly inserting that data

what fails then is PVS trying to extract data out of there...

which usually is either a configuration problem or a corrupt Access db. Access unfortunately has a somewhat archaic lock mechanism that oft gets corrupted... it may require a simple uninstall/reinstall of PVS. Just to be safe, have you tried reinstalling PVS yet?

Just one thing, you said your running on a laptop without a capture card? When PVS is setup without a capture card, it does not generate any channel lineups. It also shows every line in the FSUI EPG with a channel number of 0 and where the name should be is "???". The only way to fix this is to manually create a lineup in the web interface.

I have not reinstalled yet. But what Mr Phil is saying is that since I don't have a capture card, I am not going to see the listings anyway, right?

It makes sense I guess. I guess I just need to throw it on a box, w/ a capture card.
