Canadian installation

I chose Canada as the install country but it won't install without a zip code, there are no zip codes in canada.

Have you tried entering a canadian postal code?

I think that's what I did.

You will not be able to use SnapStream.Net for Canadian TV data yet. We will soon start work on Canadian data for SnapStream.Net, but in the meantime you can use XML TV importer. Check out this link:

How soon ...;-)

So close, yet so far.

I am sure that from the ordersyou have received, you have an accurate idea of the numbers of customers in Canada.

If most things Internet/computer related are any indications, the penetration/adoption in Canada is at least similar to the US (percentage wise), probably greater.

I can't wait for a Canadian guide !!!

We're currently doing initial planning for a Canadian site, so support is most definitely in the pipe works. Amongst the barriers will be some additional data licensing issues (specifically figuring out what postal codes fall in what time zones, follow daylight savings, etc.), getting the hardware in place, and testing. Dev work, though there is some, is not the primary barrier here.

Same goes for the UK, though at this point it's looking like Canada will be out the door first...but as I said, things are far from concrete at this point.

James,

I am sure I would not the be the only Canadian to be happy to help, but if you need any help figuring out what postal codes are in what time zones, etc., feel free to ask.

I would be happy to help thismove forward.
