suggestion (for digital cable feature)

One feature that I will miss from the last pvr software I used is the ability to use the digital cable box and svideo for some channels, but use the analog cable input for other channels. I prefer not to tie up the cable box and rely on an ir channel changer for most recordings, so I have SS set up to use the analogue input. However, I would like to be able to record certain channels that are only available through the digital box.

My current solution will be to use a different pvr software for those digital channels.
