Viewing snapstream videos using Snapstream UI over an NT file share

Have anyone successfully been able to view Snapstream recording videos on a different PC that is also running Snapstream software but points the video directory to an NT file share?

I am interested in setting up a separate PC to view videos from my bedroom. I am planning to run a network jack to my room. Instead of running the videos from the "C:" drive, I would mount the Snapstream recording machine on "T:" and set my video file folder on the view-only machine to "T:" drive.

I like to continue to use the snapstream UI, instead of say, MYHTPC.

Thanks
- Jimmy

this should work if you have sufficient bandwith between the two computers. I used to have pvs version 2 setup like that so that my two machines didnt record something that the other already had. PVS also might get angry if the store disappears (shutdown computer) as it attempts every so often to find new shows and to check free space

I do this without any problem. I use a 10/100 switched network and watching video is flawless. Even fast forwarding is great! gatta love it.
