SnapStream Lite

I downloaded SnapStream Lite, and all I have to say is WOW! I love it. I have been playing with it, and have a few questions that I assume have only to do with the lite version.

1.) How is the lite version lite? I tried to record a James Bond movie last night, and noticed that it only recorded the first 30 minutes. Is this because I own the lite version, or because I have an issue?

2.) How do I stream Live TV to other computers on my network? I read all the stuff about opening ports, and I get all that. I can stream recorded TV shows, but I cannot see how to stream live TV. Is it under the WATCH button on the web administration page? Do I need to install snapstream on the client machines? Is this, again, a Lite version limitation?

Thanks for any help.

not to sure about the 30 minutes, as far as I can remember from the discussion in beta testing the lite version the only limitation it had was that it would only work for 30 days then it would require a registered key, you might want to check the log window and see if there where any errors

logs are also held in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SnapStream\Personal Video Station
incase you closed it

I think that after 3 weeks the lite mode starts to limit the things you can do with pvs, one of those limits being you can only record for 30 minutes at a time.

As for the live tv, yea its under the watch button on the web admin page… click watch, then on the left hand side of the page there is a ‘watch live tv’ link. And you don’t need to install snapstream on the other computers to use this feature.

I live in Vegas

I live in Vegas. Don't forget to drop huge wads of cash for us, it lowers our taxes. I'll be a tour guide for you and tell you the coolest places to go if you hook me up with a free copy.

All I've got to say is "double down".

Thanks to the community

Thanks for all of your great responses. I figured out that the James Bond movie had, in fact, downloaded properly. Before it was converted over to wmf, I guess it is sent to my computer in chunks. I found the link to watch TV on the left side.
