Best set-up to use with pvs 3

I have an all-in-wonder 7500 and would like to hook up my pvr to my big screen using pvs 3. My tv and graphics card both have tv in and out. How can i use the picture from my tv and still use the pvs3 software? (kind of like a tivo)
Thanks.

What you can do is use your tv as your monitor. If you hook up the TV to your Video Card's TV out and the audio using a minijack to rca cable to your tv then you can have the audio and video displayed on your tv. Use a supported remote and have snapstream on your TV just like a Tivo

akroots...

That is EXACTLY what I'm doing at my house... My ATI AIW 7500 runs directly out to my television, no computer monitor attached. It works fine!

You could buy a HDTV The TV output is going to be crummy compaired to your monitor. Your monitor is hi-res while your tv isn't. With some newer HDTV you can directly hook up your computer and use it like a big screen monitor. Gateway even has a 42" Plasma screen with some of their computers. For only $3000 bucks you can have one too!

Unfortunately this depends a LOT on your TV - and the method used to connect to it. I have one PC hooked up via S-Video to a Sony Wega and the picture is great! The other PC I have goes into a Sanyo using Composite and the picture is fair.

I set my PCs to 800x600 resolution and there are no monitors hooked to them.

I've got a IR LEARING SWITCHER that switches between my TV, PVR/DVD, and VCR that I got at Radio Shack. I think it's pretty handy!

ok, i bought snapstream*, but it seems that when i go to live tv its not really live tv, it plays live tv at the setting i put my recording quality at. How do i change it so it plays live tv?

Live TV in Mpeg mode always plays back the from the buffer. When you enter live tv you are always recording to the buffer. This is how you are able to rewind and pause "Live TV"

This is by design.
