is there going to be a subscription fee for pvs 3

apparently at the moment there is not. But I thought for providers there was recurring licensing fees for programming. So I hope this "no subscription" thing, doesn't last only a few months.

There will not be any form of subscription fee attached to Personal Video Station 3, at least for the US.

As EPG support for more countries rolls out, those will be evaluated on a case by case basis, so there's no guarantees there yet.
