Capture Card

I will be using a DirecTV for my input, tuned via Low Speed Data Port.

Question is: Can I just buy a Video Capture Card and not a TV Tuner card?

Thanks For the quick responce, Im ready to go buy one today.

Quick Response: Maybe?

As long as the Capture card has WDM drivers that PVS can enumerate the inputs (no tuner just composite and Svideo) then yes. You can also get a low cost TV tuner like the WinTV Go for about $50. A capture card might not save you too much money.
