Access for Shuttle users?

When and how will Shuttle computer owners be permitted to download the software? I see the Press release on both SS and Shuttle sites but no method to download the software.
Any help?

Talking Great! Thanks...

Been planning to buy SS3 for my XPC, but now I don't have to...or do I. Wonder what's so "lite" about the free SnapStream Lite?

I wonder how or if SnapStream Lite is crippled, we'll just have to see. If anyone has used the "lite" version, let us know.

Have you received the link yet?

I registered yesterday but have yet to hear back from Shuttle or SnapStream. Have you received the link yet?

I have, but nothing from Shuttle, guess it takes a day or two. I'm guessing the 'lite' version is like the older lite versions which limits recording time and a few other features, so I just got the full version of SS ver 3. I must say that the software does work well, even using a 667 Mhz CPU with XP Home (yes I'm going to upgrade).

Can anyone from Snapstream comment on what the deal with Shuttle actually was/is? I signed up a week or more ago, but never heard anything. Shuttle are completely silent on the matter and have quietly taken down the sign-up page.

I was kinda excited for a while there, now I'm kinda bummed-out about the whole thing.

Ditto...

I was about to go with SageTV but the idea of a free copy of SnapStream for my XPC was enthralling. I've registered but heard nothing.

What's up SS?

If it is just a trial then who cares. They should pay Shuttle to include a trial copy.

hey got another update on this, Should be commming out within the next few days.

Im kindve pissed off at SnapStream for maintaining for forums, cant there be one dedicated forum Administrator that could be knoledgable enough to browse the forums and answer questions or jump into conversations trying to explain the truth rather then rhumors from spreading.

I mean this post has been out for awhile and not one person from snapstream has come to answer the truth, it would definatly clear up there email traffic from me emailing them 5 times to get 2 responses...

Well there is an Administrator and I am that guy that checks the fourms. As for the Shuttle issue, there wasn't a final decision made on this issue that I could post. Now that all that has been resolved, I can make a post with confidence that the statement that I am making will be truthful.

The Shuttle version will be the Trial version. Shuttle users will be given a discounted rate if they decide to get the full version.
