Price of PVS 3.0?

Does anyone know what the price of PVS version 3 will be when it is released? I am very interested in buying this software, but I saw somewhere that it will be $89 when it is released? If that is right, I will just go ahead and buy it now before the price goes up.

Thanks,

$79 is in the media kit. See http://www.snapstream.com/pdf/PVS3-reviewers-guide.pdf

I wonder if the extra money is for the 'free' programming guide. Perhaps if you buy verson 2 and get the free upgrade to version 3, you will not be able to use the programing guide for free.

I don't know. It's a good question.

I may buy now if I'll still be able to get the programming guide for free.

I have not heard any talk that would suggest that current users of PVS 2.0 would have to pay for the new SnapStream.net service.

Current users of 2.0 that upgrade to 3.0 will *not* have to pay for the SS.Net service.

"The MSRP on the product will be $89.99 and for a short period after launch we'll be selling it at the discounted price of $49.99."
