Multiple Channel Recordings

This product looks great...

Have one question, can you record multiple channels at once?

I know that you can do this if you have two pc's both with tv cards and snaptream on them. I'm not sure if it will work if you have two cards in one computer(this would be very very nice) maybe someone could shed som light on things

Two shows recording at the same time requires 2 tuners!

recording two shows on the same PC would require a lot of computing power on that one PC -- this isn't practical with the current generation of processors.

as someone pointed out, you can record two shows at the same time using multiple machines and SnapStream's master/slave functionality.

I have to disagree here, with a 1GHz or faster processor and a couple of 7200 rpm drive I see no reason why one system could not support several recording sessions. Playback is even easier since the decoding is done on the viewing PC.

BTW, I hope that real time with pause comes soon.

If you look at the date of the post that was about 6 months ago. As you know clock speeds do wonderful things in 6 months.
