SnapStream PVS with Timewarner Digital Cable
I have a Pioneer Voyager™ 1000 Digital Cable Set-top on a Timewarner Cable Network. I would like to set up a computer with "SnapStream PVS" to be a PVR / Media library. I have a cable modem and a 100mb network in the house. I will use what ever OS you recommend with what ever video capture is recommended. I have electronics experience and can build an IR blaster or serial cable if necessary. I just want to be able to schedule shows to record off any channel at any time. Then archive shows to CDR.

I am using the Motorola Interactive Digital Set-top Terminal [DCT2000] on the Time Warner Digital Cable Service. It has a serial connection so this should be able to work with a regualar serial cable and the dss.dll?
Thanks, Christopher |
