Any chance SnapStream could be ported to TiVo hardware?
Looks like a nice product. I might get this as it seems much beter than PowerVCR.
I was wondering though. What are the chanced hat this could be ported to linux if it hasn't already, and once ported to linux, how about running it on TiVo hardware? TiVo is nice when you have the subscription, but they really cripple the box if you don't pay lifetime or your monthly fee! |

TivoOwner,
A bit off topic... so please reply through email. I've been looking at getting a Tivo box w/o subscription, but have been unable to find out what I can do in this scenario. Can you give me a brief description through email? Thanks, David.Robinson@intel.com |

I don't think a Linux port is on the horizon, based upon responses to similar questions that have been asked. The product is built around the Windows Media Encoder. A port for another OS didn't seem to be something the developers are interested in doing.
