You guys must have old VCR's or cheap DVD movies. Most DVD movies have macrovision and when you loop the signal to the vcr and then to the tv, macrovision is enabled on the VCR. Snapstream only records what is coming through the tuner. For example, my DVD is playing through channel 3 on my VCR and I set Snapstream to record channel 3. It just copies whatever stream is coming into the Tuner card. Macrovision is not an issue at all. My VCR is new and the movies I have tried have Macrovision.
