Status on Live TV and VCD creation?

Can you offer any hints as to when we can expect these frequently requested features?

Live TV: The ability to stream live TV rather than the fully recorded file.

VCD Creation: the ability to convert the native recording format to MPEG, so we can burn it to a CD and watch on a standard DVD player.

I see alot more content going into the website. Can a project timeline be created. I would like to know what features are being worked on and a general timeframe on when the will be out. You can use the quarter system if you want (Q2 2001) or use months. I just want to know what is being worked on so I know what to expect in the final version.

the problem posed by posting a project timeline is that our priorities change so often in-house that it would be almost be self-flagellation.

this page has some features we expect to offer in the next release -- you'll see that the focus is on the front-end, setup portion of the software. we're trying to make it much easier for someone to climb into SnapStream and get going. less experimentation with parameters (hopefully) and trouble trying to get audio, etc.

live television and VCD creation are not on the immediate target list. if there are folks out there with expertise in these areas, drop us a line. we can always use "goto" people that we can send questions to and solicit thoughts from...

Out of curiosity, how many programmers, etc, are working on PVS?

In my opinion Live TV should be a MUST
Is it so difficult to build in a livestream ?
