BeyondTV and HVR1600 search for clear QAM
How far can an Hauppauge HVR 1600 tune on its QAM/ATSC input ?
How do you make BeyondTV (V4.9.1) search the high (> 100) QAM channels ? Yes, I "mining" for clear QAM on my cable ! Last edited by theoldwizard; 10-29-2009 at 09:16 AM.

use the setup wizard instead of the main beyondtv program. From there you should be able to add digital QAM device and map to a lineup. The scan is a part of this setup.
