HVR-1600 (Hauppauge) and ATSC

I can't get my BeyondTV4 to program the ATSC channels.

I recently discontinued my cable service abd bought a digital
antennae. It can get the antennae to work with the
WinTV6 application programming under "ATSC Channels"
but its not under "QAM". Not sure what the difference is
or why there are two options..I thought they were the same.

When I go through the BeyondTV4 to reporgram for the
OTA digital channels, it tries to configure QAM (I get no
other options) and it comes back and takes 15 minutes
to scan for channels but then says it could not find any channels.

Not sure what else I need to do in BeyondTV to get it to see the
OTA digital channels like the WinTV6 application does.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

did you delete the old lineups and start a new one for antenna?

Yes, I went through the BeyondTV Setup and deleted the old
line-up.

Did you go to your SnapStream.net account and add the digital OTA lineup?

ATSC and QAM are entirely different in both their structure and lineups.

re-run the setup wizard, delete your sources, and then add an Antenna Digital source and it should take you through adding a lineup and checking the strength of the channels
