Snapstream.net guide data updates

Is no one else having problems updating their guide data??? I know Snapstream had some problems with their server about a month ago. But I'm still having problems. I get maybe 1 out of 100 tries to work. It quits anywhere from 5% to 22% during the update process and it's been like this for nearly a month. My internet connection is fine and I recently just re-built my PVR machine (fresh XP and BTV install). And still getting the same results.
???

Re: Snapstream.net guide data updates

No problem here... FYI - any failures less than 5% indicate a local network problem.

Re: Snapstream.net guide data updates

I believe anything from 5 to 30% is downloading the guide data. over 30% is where it is processing the data.
Have you tried manually removing the guide data files and having BTV download a full download?

I haven't had any failures less than 5%.

Not specifically. But as I said... I completely re-formatted the hdd, re-installed windows and re-installed BTV and still get the same result.

It's gotta either be something with my internet connection or something with Snapstream's server. But given the fact that it has worked just fine for the last 5 years and just started having problems at the same time SS's server started having problems... makes me think the problem is not on my end.

Re: Snapstream.net guide data updates

I just did a full download from SS.net, everything went fine on my end. Try this. Shutdown BTV altogether, run the setup wizard, but don't change anything. After the setup wizard finishes, it will check for a new lineup and perform a full download.

Already did that (several times). :-(
I'm starting to think BTV just hates me.
