Does BeyondTV work with Dlink's DPG-1200 Wireless Media Server?

Why is it still so difficult in 2009? All I want to do is wirelessly see and control anything I can see on my main PC (screen) upstairs on my downstairs TV (non-HD). I do not use Windows Media Center for TV or anything else; I use BTV and don't want to change.

I thought I hit paydirt with Dlink's DPG-1200 but in the fine print it says this device does not support DirectX applications. I need a quick translation please. Does this mean that Beyond TV will not show up and work on my TV downstairs as it does with Beyond TV Link on my downstairs computer?

If I am correct in suspecting that BTV will not work with the DPG-1200, does anyone know of a wireless media server that will do all that the DPG-1200 does with the directx functionality?

You can built a very small pc and run SnapStream TVLINK in it but it will stil running XP and will be hard to manage. (I just think how my wife will be able to use it... almost impossible.)

We need a SnapStream TVLINK Wireless Receiver ...
