Hdtv ota

After buying a HDTV this past week and seeing how many OTA channels it picked up, I want to upgrade my tuner or add another to get the OTA HD channels. What would you suggest? I currently have a PVR150. Would like to get a dual tuner and put the PVR150 in my daughters computer if possible.

Re: Hdtv ota

HVR 2250, if the motherboard has an open PCIe (express) slot. HDHomeRun if it does not. I believe these are the only dual ATSC tuners currently on the market. Someone please speak up if there is another....

Re: Hdtv ota

I thought about just adding a HD Tuner to my PVR150, but one card w/ dual tuners makes more sense. The homerun does all of the encoding within itself, correct and is networkable?

Re: Hdtv ota

I have 2 HD Homeruns. Best thing in the world. I originally was using an antenna for OTA. I am now I am using QAM so I can get both DC and Baltimore stations. I may plug the HD Homerun back into the antenna after February 17 to see if I get both Baltimore and DC stations once they have more power once the analog stations are turned off. Right now I have to choose either Baltimore or DC.
