what happens if EPG in not available in MSTV

You might need to give more details, as that question is rather vague... What is MSTV, did you mean BeyondTV? Typically, if there is no EPG data, you would need to to use manual timers for your recordings...

MSTV is nothing but Microsoft TV. my question is if there is no EPG system availble in the MSTV then what are all the disabilities would occur?

If it's a channel offered by your cable/satellite provider but missing from your lineup, then you would need to submit a support ticket for it to be added...
