Angry apache web server issues...

I run snapstream on my win2k pc and I have a apache web on linux . both of these pc's are behind a firewall and on an internal network. I route port 80 in from the outside directly to my linux webserver running apache. my question is this.:

If I have snap stream drop the shows.html file out on my web server it works only on the internal LAN. this is because it shows the IP address of my snapstream pc in the link for the mms:// and http:// links. the IP address of the snapstream server is a non-routable IP (192.168.1.x) on my internal LAN and that is what the link points to. How can I set my firewall up to port out the streaming web server portion of the snapstream server?

This actually isn't an apache issue - it's just serving up the page generated by snapstream. Since snapstream insists on using it's own ip address (for obvious reasons) in the html, you're only alternative would be to write a custom app to do the ip translation for you (plus opening the appropriate ports to link to the shows).

I have a similar rig, and wrote a bunch of perl scripts so i can securely link to the shows from the outside without exposing the windows box to the world.

Thumbs up

you wouldn't by any chance be willing to share some of your perl code with me . Just enough to get me up to speed on what to do.
I agree that it isn't an Apache issue. just not sure how to stream a wmv file from my windoz box thru the apache web server.

any help would be great!
Thanks for the info.
