Yes it has been delayed to May -June
There is only one set of Component, RCA Audio and SPDIF connector inputs. The set above are the loop throughs.

So what player out there will actually play this file? I tried WMP and VLC with very little success.

S-Video and Composite inputs it's on the front, but was hidden behind the remote control.

Media Player Classic will also play it. What type of file is this exactly....h264 in a transport stream? if that is what it is then why doesn't it play in VLC?

The bigger question is whether there is anything out there that can edit it!

The last one that was posted played just fine in Power DVD 7 but BTV doesn't have the codecs and AFAIrecall, neither did VLC.

Freeware KMPlayer played this clip flawlessly. I couldn't get over how good it is. Damn.

Does anyone have details on what exactly the file is?

Has anyone tried to edit it or manipulate it?

This device has lots of potential PROVIDED the recordings can be edited. If they can not then the device IMHO is a whole lot less attractive.
