Differences between Snapstream and OEM

Hi

I just got a WinTV PCI card. I'm looking to reproduce the capabilities I had on my ibook + EyeTV combo for recording programs and burning them to videoCD. THe bundled software that came with the card seems to do this, so my question is a comparison between the OEM and Snapstream. What would I gain for using Snapstream? I'd like to get the best and easiest solution for my purposes.
