Multiple PC servers?

Can I access the media on multiple PC's or is only one PC a server using BeyondMedia? If only one pc which media server would folks reccomend? I assume most media servers will accept media on multiple pc's on the network...

Beyond Media can access files on other computers on the network.

Yes, but only from mapped shares that have drive letters.

You can also add UNC paths if you edit the xml file

As nanook said, I add the unc paths in the xml file for music, movies, and pictures and it works great. I've read posts about periodically losing mapped drives due to network issues and this doesn't happen to me with unc paths. If there is a network issue or the host computer goes down it is able to reconnect without rebooting.
