Snapstream Needs to break up product line.

Snapstream needs to Create 3 products using the technology they currently have.

Snapstream PVS (Personal Video Server)
This product would continue the like the PVS 2.0 product line.
It would record to Windows Media and have the streaming ability.
ProgramGuide Snapstream.Net and Others.
It would also have the live TV and Live TV over network.

Snapstream MPC (Multimedia PC)
This product would record to MPEG. It would have the fullscreen interface. ProgramGuide Snapstream.Net and Others. It would have ability to burn VDC, SVCD and DVD. It would support a few hardware MPEG2 encoding and decoding cards I.E. WinTV PVR 250, WinTV PVR 350.

Snapstream API
This would be a toolkit that would let people use portions of snapstream technology. Encode using other codecs like Divx.

How bout this, seperate out the server, recorder, and Live TV / full screen interface into 3 seperate programs. Personally I have no use for the full screen interface, it's just easier to use WMP. I don't want/need remote control interface for my stuff.

I'd like to see seperate products as well. While the full screen gui is nifty, I'm not going to use it, and I need a product that runs as a service, on a server. (which is why I originally bought snapstream). 3.0 seems to be leaning more toward a workstation model. If I wanted that, I would have looked into other products.
