Accessing advanced settings from browser

For various reasons, I've installed/uninstalled Beyond Media several times on this and other computers . . . and invariably my browser will not respond to the query to access Beyond Media's advanced settings. I know the setting is http://localhost:8129/Settings.aspx . . . but none of my three browsers -- Firefox, IE or Opera -- will respond to it. I know there's a very simple workaround, but I don't remember it. Does anyone out there recall how to do that?

Beyond *media* or Beyond *TV*

The site listed only exists for Advanced Config of Beyond TV.

Re: Accessing advanced settings from browser

What does this mean . . .?? I'm trying to open the advanced config . . . and I can't. What do I need to do in order to open the advanced config? Simply right clicking on the tray icon then clicking on "Advanced Settings" isn't working. IS not "advanced config" and "advanced settings" the same thing??

Re: Accessing advanced settings from browser

The point made to you was that Beyond Media (which you referred to in your first post) does not have an "Advanced Settings" feature.

You're confusing Beyond TV with Beyond Media.

As for the solution to your problem, sorry I don't recall any "work around".

Re: Accessing advanced settings from browser

If you are only using Beyond Media, of course you don't have access to the settings of Beyond TV...
