USB-UIRT Software.

I was thinking of getting a USB-UIRT but I have a question. Is there software you can use that just sends out the signals. So I can literally just use it to change channels without doing anything else. I know Sage and Beyond and many other programs integrate it but thats not all I want. I just want a simple program that just can control my AV hardware with it. Thanks in advance for any help on this topic.

Re : USB-UIRT Software.

You could use something like Girder for that...

Re: USB-UIRT Software.

Or you can use EventGhost which is free http://www.eventghost.org/wiki/EventGhost:About

The problem I had, is that it wasn't too reliable using the USB-UIRT to send out signals to my TV, but that's because I had to position it by my cable box, so positioning could fix that problem, or multiple USB-UIRT's.
