BTV(link) to TV connection

What is commonly used for this connection. On the BTV Link box I'm building I've got the choice of: S-Video, VGA, or DVI (all built into the motherboard) which the TV also supports. I've looked through the forums and this always seems to be the missing link (no pun intended).

for quality dvi is the best choice, followed by vga then s-video.

Preferably don't get video built into the board at all. Get something separate that has more horsepower. DVI will have the best visual image, but you won't be able to do anything in the HD realm probably.
