ATI releases new "media driver" through windowsupdate
We ATI users have had plenty to gripe about lately. Being forced to use the standard MS dmo filter (no live stream TV) - not to mention choppy playback.
Well, using XP, I just picked up a new "media driver" from windowsupdate (which I've verified to be an update atinrvxx.sys driver - the rage theatre chipset driver) So, SnapStream, please allow us to use your dmo filter now - and take a look at whether these new drivers address the choppy playback problem! |

Thanks Andrel for that tip!
I can also confirm that Rage Theatre chipset users (aiw 128 / aiw radeon) can now use the SnapStream DMO filter which allows Live Stream TV. This will no doubt be released in a matter of days. The current release forces use of the MS dmo for the above users. |
