Does it work with BTV? I'm thinking about getting one.

I would venture a guess that there are 100's of posts on this forum talking about the HDHomeRun and how it does in fact work with BeyondTV.

Snapstream Blog Post on the subject

I wrote up a mini-review of the HDHomeRun used with BTV also, but the blog post I referenced above pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

Re: HdHomeRun

Is anyone using this with an antenna instead of cable? I can't get the setup wizard to offer the Antenna (Digital) option.

I am not using an antenna, but I know it has been done. Go to the silicondust forums and post that same question - You should get some good help there if not here. Good luck.

Re: HdHomeRun

Thanks. Good idea. I was hoping that someone here could give me an idea of how the Setup Wizard decides to offer the Antenna (Digital) options.

Anyway, I'll post on the Silicon Dust site.

Thanks,
David

yea, hopefully someone will be able to answer here, but it never hurts to get the biggest audience you can when you're trying to sort through a problem like that. Don't lose hope. These forums are typically a little slower on Fridays especially.

Re: HdHomeRun

I have a couple of questions.

(1) Is there a limit to the number of HDHomerun Boxes that I can use simultaneously with Beyond TV?

(2) Do I have to connect two Coax Cables to each HDHomerun Box if I only want to use them for QAM?

My Home Network is 1 Gigabit (Cat5e RJ-45 wired) and I use "Switched" routers.

Thanks in Advance!

Yes, each tuner needs a cable connection
