You need a TV Tuner card for your PC. Hauppauge and ATI are well-known manufacturers of such hardware.
Other than that, the signals can come from just about any source. There are some tuning quirks that you'll want to research if you use Digital Cable or Satellite service, but signals from analog cable or a standard antenna work just fine. |
