Need Cable TV?

Hello,

I was just wondering how the program gets the signal from the broadcasts.

Do you need to have cable TV or something?

Thanks,
Steve

You need a TV Tuner card for your PC. Hauppauge and ATI are well-known manufacturers of such hardware.

Other than that, the signals can come from just about any source. There are some tuning quirks that you'll want to research if you use Digital Cable or Satellite service, but signals from analog cable or a standard antenna work just fine.

My ATI TV Wonder is nothing but trouble for me. I would suggest that you give the Hauppauge a try.
