Home Surveillance with Snapstream
I have an ENET network camera hooked up to my home LAN and access via a Linksys router. Does anyone know if SnapStream can record to disk from either a remote command or from a local (motion detector) signal? If not, which product can?

PC Magazine in their last issue did a short article on four different webcam monitoring solutions. I have since purchased Webcam Watchdog which can be found at webcamsoft.com. I believe it to be the best one out of the four they reported on. But see for yourself just like I did. All of them make trial versions available for free.

If I remember correctly, WinXP has a PowerToy for recording from a webcam. The PowerToys are free, but unsupported, and may not have all the features that one might want.
