Anyone using Near-DVD without jerkiness?
Just wondering. I've tried two different computers, one 800 Mhz, one 1400Mhz, both with 512MB RAM, and 40GB RAID arrays for storage, using an ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder with the latest beta XP driver. I use Windows XP pro. I'd suspect I'm using the default capture settings for the Radeon card itself, IE color depth and format.
I can't get the Near-DVD settings to work without giving me frame loss and skipping every few seconds at that setting. The CPU meter shows about 80 percent CPU on the 1400 Athlon during encoding, so at least on that chip it's not bottoming out.
Is anyone using Near-DVD quality? What kind of machine do you have, and do you get the jerkiness?
I do really love this product otherwise.. I can't wait to see if it gets ported to Linux =)
