Okay. So I live in NY and have Time-Warner digital cable. I have two TVs in my apt both of which have cable boxes.
Is there any way for me to split my cable into my computer without requiring a new cable box? |

I think they do analog also, but I'm not sure if they cut it off yet. You should call them and ask them if they're supplying an analog signal that would work on a tv without a cable box. if they say yes, then you're set. your PC tv tuner card will only be able to get channels below 100, but that's usually good enough for the weekly shows that most people watch. if you want to go the extra cable box method, snapstream has IR blaster capability to help you out in that situation.
