How Long for AVerKey Support?

I've seen the same message that it will be supported when you get documentation from AVerKey -- for the last few months or more. I've tried the demo and found it mostly works, but will not change the channel from where it was last set using AVerKey's TV software. If it wasn't for this one problem, I'd sign up instantly.

would you post the specific model/specs on the avermedia tuner card/device you are using? we'll get one in our labs and target rolling into quartz (next release of SnapStream)

I also have an avermedia card... a Avermedia TV Studio card. It has some PVR features, but nothing close to snapstream. I can't get snapstream to record audio no matter what. I know I've selected the right input device and line, but never hear audio, the line is unmuted, but still doesn't work, must be something in the software. I tried doing the diagnostic test and as he said it stays on the same channel that it was left on using avermedia's software. This software looks great in theory... I just wished it worked on this card. I find the avermedia tv-studio is 99% the quality of the wintv card, at 25% the price, but unfortunatly only 10% the support from 3rd parties :-(
Great product, but please get support for the newer avermedia cards.
Erik

I have the AverTV USB ... I am able to record with it, but not change channels. It will only record the last channel I was on when in the AverMedia software. Your product did an great job with the recording, all I need now is the ability to change channels

I also have an Avermedia USB device. Snapstream does a wonderful job of recording, but cannot change the channels.

Aver tells me I have the latest 2.11 drivers-- and the correct ones for XP Professional.

Did Avermedia ever get back to SnapStream with API information? If not, I don't think it is fair to say that you support their product.

I really want this to work and I want to upgrade!

We have had trouble getting the USB to work in house. I am working with mschnapp to see if I can get it working for him.
