Post New ATI Drivers

Greetings all.
I wanted all ATI users to know that ATI has released new drivers as of June 13th. The drivers promise better stability some new features including skins for the ATI media center. I am posting this for all ATI users and for the Snapstream team so they can keep up with everything.

Take care,

Here is ATI's driver lookup page, took me less time to find it than to type this:
find a driver

BTW, SnapStream would have nothing to do with ATI support or ATI drivers, so if you're looking to get ATI drivers from SnapStream, probably all they'll tell you is to go to the ATI site.

As for SnapStream support being slow, that's probably because they haven't hired a new support person yet, last I heard. PBMax is filling in, and apparently doing it for free, so don't give him too much of a hard time.

It is the ATI Live Feed SS Fix I am looking for. I Have seen it discussed and Patrick had put out a thread stating if you needed the patch for live video that you needed to send him your purchase info. The fact that there is 1 person working these boards does frighten me a bit. I bought SS 2.0 with the full expectation that the fix was coming...and I'm waiting, still. I saw the ray of light and was looking just to get the live stream to work.

Here's the thread:

I would like to get a copy of this also. For 3 months now, I have asked for this patch.

I have narrowed my ATI troubles down to some type of sleep mode or power managment. After one of these conditions is met, everything I record with SS is very choppy. The audio never skips, but the video sure does. Please, email me the patch! geekgod@aol.com.

Thanks!

Please send an email to orders@snapstream.com with your order number. I cannot send the patch out until orders verifies that it is a good order. Just request the patch and I will recieve it. I've been doing the new tech support and after that going thought the backlog. This is so that too many people don't get backloged. This is unfair to the older people but This is the best system I can come up with. New email then backto the backlog. Sorry I haven't come accross your email yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

First rule of customer service, the customer is always right! For crying out loud just give them the patch!

This isn't just a patch for any version. This is a patched exe file which would make any version of Snapstream into the FULL version. We have to verify if those requesting the patch are indeed Customers. Once this is verified then we have not problems giving the patch out.
