need info
Hello I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 and want to get the beyond tv to record tv and Xbox in Mpg4. does the beyond have a selection other than what channel you want to watch? I use TV for recording tv and composit-1 for recording from my XBOX. Thanks!!!

Not sure I fully understood your question but you can define your tuner inputs separately in BTV, including the composite input.

But your Hauppauge only encodes mpeg2. You have to convert the mpeg2 files to MP4 after they have been recorded.

BB got it right of course.
Recording direct in DivX you need a Plextor hardware DivX encoding tuner. Eric
