SciFi Volume

Anyone else have problems on the SciFi Channel with the shows being very quiet but the commercials being super loud?

Is there anyway to do auotmatic volume leveling after or durring the recording?

I do, but it will be over a week before I get my analog card back. I can let you know then.

I noticed the same problem with my cable system, Time Warner, and the SciFi channel.

Do you happen to use VideoReDo to edit? There is an undocumented feature that allows you to use Winamp DSP plugins to process audio.

Re: SciFi Volume

I have the same problem with the sci fi channel....my cable is from Charter, so I don't think it's the cable companies as it's happening with various ones...what I do notice is that the show volume does increase the further it get's into the show...that is until the next commercial, then it starts all over again.
