Which Browser to use for HTPC

I finally hooked up a dedicated HTPC to the TV. The TV is an old JVC 27" screen, and am using video out via s-video. BTV looks great and I have a firefly remote and a wireless mouse and keyboard (microsoft jobby which I got from woot awhile back). Everything with BTV and Beyond Media work great.. could use some enhancements but that's been covered to a great extent elsewhere in this forum. The problem or issue I am having now is really concerning the browser. I am using IE 6 and it just sucks on the screen my resolution is currently set to 640x480. I am hoping you guys could suggest a better choice or if there are any modifications to improve the readability within the limits of my hardware. Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated.

Re: Which Browser to use for HTPC

First lose the IE and switch to Firefox free and much better

Then learn to live with blurry desktop and surfing cuz thats all you will get with and SD TV. TVs make really crappy monitors, especially for text. You need a computer monitor or HD TV to get a good display of text.
