Re: Are you planning to upgrade to Microsoft Vista?

I've had Vista Ultimate on my main PC for a few weeks now and so far it's okay. I love the WinKey-TAB effect, but it's not a huge step from WinXP. I had to turn off User Access Control because of problems with my Logitech G15 keyboard and some games (and that thing was annoying beyond belief!!). So far, I had more Explorer shell crashes under Vista than I ever had with XP. Seems like it's very flaky.

However, for my HTPC, it's WinXP and it'll stay that way until the day when I have no other choices.

Not untill some service packs comeout or they drop support for xp and force everyone to have to buy vista.

The irony; wanting specific information but leaving a generic spam message.

Re: Are you planning to upgrade to Microsoft Vista?

Last I heard, sp1 beta will be late 2007, release early 2008 if we are lucky. They're gonna be busy trying to shore up hype around Zune and ridiculing the iphone. But at least their own researchers feel vista has better security than oh, anyone who honestly releases bug information (sorry, really irritated with their commando marketing the last week)

Re: Are you planning to upgrade to Microsoft Vista?

I'm pretty sure my dates are accurate.
If you did read that article closely, you would have also seen that all the information gathered is public information based off bug submissions.

Re: Are you planning to upgrade to Microsoft Vista?

It looks like Windows Vista is one big piece of spyware. I won't be upgrading anytime soon. See link below:
