Save Path

I am testing out a couple of different software for my pvr. I have an older version of Beyond TV that came with my pvr-150 card and have found it to be the most user friendly set up I have had so far. I think I will probably be using this as my pvr software. I have one problem. I can't find anyway of changing the folder to which it saves files to. I have two large external hard drives that I would like to store everything on but beyond tv is saving to the tv folder it created on my C: drive. That will not work as it is not a very large drive and has not only filled it up but I can't transfer the files to the other drive because my C: drive is to full. If someone could help me with this it would be appreciated.

Re: Save Path

Run the setup from within BTV. You can choose all sorts of options.

Re: Save Path

You can also use the web admin (http://localhost:8129) to add more folders.

Re: Save Path

I'm sorry but I have looked for a way to set it up within BTV and found no such option. I'm using BTV Basic 3 is does this version have that? Also, I guess I don't really understand how to use the web admin. either. Is that part of the program or something else? I don't mean to sound stupid about this. Thanks.

Re: Save Path

That's a pretty old version of Beyond TV. You should probably just download Beyond TV 4 from the website to make sure you have the latest version.

If you switch to Beyond TV 4, you will see the option in the Setup Wizard.

Either way, you can use the web admin. The web admin is an advanced interface that allows you to configure settings that are not exposed in the main application. Simply open a web browser on the computer that you have Beyond TV running and navigate to http://localhost:8129.

Here is a KB article that details the process:
